Played 4 $1 Turbo "Double or Nothing" SnGs simultaneously over at Stars last night, just for the hell of it. This means that when the field gets down to 5, the tourney is over - So I made a grand total of $1.90 for my efforts when I cashed in 3 of them (bubbled the other one). I can definitely see this as being profitable for solid SnG players, especially those who have had experience in satellite play.
Now to see if there are any $5 & $6 ones to play tomorrow night - might not be a bad way to go to clear my bonus, if I don't feel like playing in any cash games.

been playing these since they came out, both on Stars and Cake. Your best hope is that your opponents don't know optimal bubble play (remember all my all-ins at Dino's...) and that the big stacks don't keep doubling up the little guys.
True...although this is definitely a tournament where (especially if blinds get to 100/200 or higher) having a big stack early to just abuse the mid-stacks would be optimal strategy.
At least that's how it worked out in one of the 3 I won...6-3 pwns AA and KK, brah!!!
Action, since I don't have hand history here:
UTG raises from 20 to 100, MP calls raise, me in BB with 6-3 suuuuuuited thinks about it, then decides that getting 3.3 to 1 is worth a flop here.
Flop is 5-2-4 rainbow, giving me the nuts. EP throws out a bet of 150, and MP and I both call.
Turn is a Q (4 suits on board, too), and EP bets out 500 - MP jams all-in, I use up part of my time bank before I call (slow-rolling, as I was later accused of doing), EP calls...
And we get KK and AA flipped over, gotta love them drawing dead, that's for sure :-)
